Our unique capabilities in sensors and electronics have established us as a supplier of quality products to demanding customers such as major aircraft programmes. We take advanced radar and electro-optics from concept to product by using in-house design, manufacture and test including one of the most sophisticated radar test chambers in the UK.
The ATC has provided a Control Systems design and consultancy service to all parts of BAE SYSTEMS and MoD for many years. This has been applied to a range of dynamic systems, including stabilised electro-optical sensors, radar and communications antennas. These have been fitted to aircraft, missiles, helmets, ships, submarines and land vehicles.
The ATC capabilities in optical systems design and evaluation encompass fibre optic switching and routing for local networks and optical modems for harsh environments. We are also pioneers in optical sensors for 'smart structures' and special fibre for high power laser delivery.
A comprehensive capability in all aspects of radar system and component design can be offered by the ATC. This covers antennas and control systems, large volume test chambers, device and system design, manufacture and packaging plus signal processing.
The ATC has a team that specialises in the miniaturisation and integration aspects of products, sub-systems or systems. We strive to stay one step ahead of current technology by working with leading edge suppliers to develop their skills and products to support future products.
